Troop 94 Summer Camps
Camp Durant
Camp Durant was Troop 94’s first, second, and sixth summer camp. The troop went there in 2015, 2016, and 2021. Camp Durant is the primary summer camping facility of the Occoneechee Council. Camp Durant is a part of the Occoneechee Scout Reservation, a 2,400-acre (9.7 km2) tract in northwestern Moore County, North Carolina. Camp Pipsico
Camp Pipsico was Troop 94’s third and fifth summer camp. The troop went there in 2017 and 2019. Camp Pipsico belongs to the Tidewater Council along the James River in Virginia. Pipsico as a Scout camp dates back to 1958, but its history goes back much further. In fact, the patent history (now deed history) goes back to December 13, 1634 when King Charles I patented 2000+ acres of land, on the South shores of the James River and four miles upstream from Jamestown, to Col. Camp Daniel Boone
Camp Daniel Boone was Troop 94’s fourth and seventh summer camp. The troop went there in the summer of 2018 and 2022. Camp Daniel Boone is operated by the Daniel Boone Council and is located southwest of Ashville, NC along the Great Smokey Mountains. It has 700 acres and 22 campsites.
