Items to remember when Packing
WATERPROOF YOUR GEAR. A wet sleeping bag is not a comfortable option. Trash bags and resealable zip lock style bags work great.
Check and double check before you pack. Doing a layout today will save you from a missing item tomorrow
If you do not have any of the gear above, check with leadership before purchase.
Coordinate with a buddy. A 6 pound tent split between two Scouts is easier to carry.
Take care of your feet and areas that sweat. Make sure you keep your feet dry on the trail along with any other areas that may become irritated from sweat and friction
