⚜️ What a summer for Troop 94B & Troop 94G! ⚜️ We wrapped up an incredible summer of Scouting with our End-of-Summer Court of Honor, celebrating the hard work, adventure, leadership, and achievements of our Scouts. 🧭 We kicked off the evening by swearing in our new youth leaders, as they accepted the responsibility of leading their fellow Scouts and helping guide the Troops through the adventures ahead. In Scouting, leadership isn't just a position, it's an opportunity to serve. 🏅 More than 140 Merit Badges earned! ⚜️ 10 Rank Advancements! 🦅 Eagle Palms earned! 🏕️ Gold Devices for the National Outdoor Awards, recognizing even more nights spent camping and adventuring outdoors! 👧👦 Den Chief Cords, recognizing Scouts serving and leading our younger Cub Scouts! 📣 Recruiter Strips, earned by Scouts who helped bring new members into the Scouting family! Those numbers represent much more than patches, pins, and badges.

🦅 Congratulations to Dakota for completing his Eagle Scout service project at SWIFT Robotics! 🦅 SWIFT Robotics is a nonprofit in Vass, NC that supports STEM education and provides robotics opportunities for local youth. For his Eagle Project, Dakota planned, organized, fundraised, and led volunteers through several improvements to the property. He raised the funds needed for a new storage shed, built a ramp to make it easier to move mowers and equipment in and out of the shed, installed shelving, and added a rack for hanging and organizing garden tools. Dakota and his team also completed conservation work around the property, helping improve and care for the grounds for years to come. An Eagle Project is about much more than what gets built. It is an opportunity for a Scout to demonstrate leadership, planning, responsibility, and service to others while bringing together a team to accomplish something that will

🏕️ A great weekend of Scouting at Camp McNeill! ⚜️ Troops 94B and 94G enjoyed a weekend at Camp McNeill and welcomed Pack 757’s Arrows of Light to join the adventure! Scouts braved the humidity, bugs, and rain while practicing pocketknife carving, map reading and orienteering, field-expedient water filtration, fire building, first aid, and rank requirements. There was plenty of classic camp life too, including cooking meals, Dutch oven desserts, and a campfire filled with songs and fellowship. 🔥🎶 A big thank-you to Pack 757’s AOL Scouts for joining us and getting a taste of troop life! 🏕️ Troop 94 Adventure at Camp Rockfish! 🧭🔥 Troop 94 had an awesome weekend at Camp Rockfish, packed with adventure, teamwork, and plenty of opportunities to practice Scout skills! Our Scouts tackled the Low COPE group challenge course, working together, communicating, solving problems, and learning that a patrol can accomplish much more when everyone contributes. 💪 We also spent time sharpening our orienteering skills, learning about backpacking stoves, and putting our fire-building abilities to the test by starting fires with wet wood. Nothing like a good challenge to build confidence and resourcefulness! Of course, no Scout campout would be complete without some good cooking. Each patrol worked together to prepare their meals, and we enjoyed some fantastic Dutch oven cooking along the way. 🍲🥘 We finished things off with an awesome evening campfire, a great way to gather together after a full day of Scouting, fellowship, and adventure. 🔥⚜️ A

Congratulations to Troop 94 Eagle Scout and alumnus, and Sea Scout Ship 94 member, Tyler on being selected for the Vigil Honor in the Order of the Arrow, Tsoiotsi Tsogalii Lodge #70, Old North State Council! The Vigil Honor is the highest recognition the Order of the Arrow can bestow upon its members for exceptional service, leadership, and unselfish dedication to the Lodge, Council, and the entire Scouting movement. Each year, only a select few Arrowmen are chosen, with no more than two percent of a lodge's membership eligible for selection. At least half of those selected must be youth members under the age of 21. The Vigil Honor is not something that can be earned through personal ambition. Instead, it is bestowed by one's fellow Arrowmen in recognition of distinguished service beyond the responsibilities of any position or office. This summer, Scouts from Troops 94B and 94G proudly represented our troop by serving on the Camp Cherokee staff for 8 weeks of camp! Seven of our Scouts took on important roles across camp, working in the Dining Hall, Trading Post, First-Year Camper Program, Scoutcraft, Life Science, and the Headquarters Building. Their dedication helped create an unforgettable summer experience for hundreds of Scouts attending camp. Beyond their daily responsibilities, they also played key roles in flag ceremonies, evening campfires, and twilight programs, demonstrating leadership, service, and Scout spirit from sunrise to lights out. Serving on camp staff is more than just a summer job-it's an opportunity to develop leadership skills, build lifelong friendships, and give back to the Scouting program that has given so much to them. 🏕️ Troop 94 Summer Camp Adventure at Camp Daniel Boone! 🏔️ What an incredible week our Scouts had at Camp Daniel Boone in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina! Throughout the week, our Scouts challenged themselves by earning merit badges, learning new skills, and growing in confidence and leadership. Even after long days of activities, they tackled the mountain trails with enthusiasm, hiking up and down the camp each day while taking in the breathtaking scenery. The fun didn't stop there! The troop enjoyed fishing, memorable campfire ceremonies filled with songs and Scout spirit, and one evening prepared a delicious Dutch oven meal together, followed by everyone's favorite campfire treat - s'mores! 🍽️🔥🍫 Summer camp is about so much more than earning badges.
