This past weekend, Scouts from Troop 94 participated in conservation service projects at, a century-old family farm with a rich history and strong ties to the community. Our Scouts spent the day helping plant apple and peach trees around the farm, contributing to the preservation and future growth of this special property. Jackson Farm also supports veterans through the “Soldiers to Agriculture” program, which provides agricultural training and opportunities for transitioning service members. We are proud of our Scouts for giving back through service, conservation, and support of programs that make a difference in the lives of veterans and our local community. Great work, Troop 94! #TroopNineFour #ScoutingAmerica #ScoutBSA #EagleScout #Conservation #PreparedForLife #SoldiersToAgriculture
Troop 94 is proud to recognize Zach for his service and leadership at the May 16th 5K Run/Walk at honoring our fallen Soldiers and remembering their sacrifice at Ft. Bragg, North Carolina. Zach volunteered to help with setup for the event and also participated in the run/walk alongside members of the community. His willingness to serve others and honor those who gave everything reflects the true spirit of Scouting — duty, respect, and service above self. We are proud of Zach for representing Troop 94 with such character and dedication. Thank you to all who participated in this meaningful tribute to our nation’s heroes. #TroopNineFour #ScoutingAmerica #HonorTheFallen #FortBragg #ScoutBSA #EagleScout #Leadership #PreparedForLife #scouts

This past weekend, Troop 94 set out for an unforgettable adventure at Camp Raven Knob—and what a journey it was! Our Scouts took on an incredible 12-mile hike with over 1,000 feet of elevation change, pushing themselves both physically and mentally every step of the way. The trek led them up Raven Knob Mountain, along the scenic ridgeline to Grassy Knob, onward to Warrior Mountain, and finally to the peak of Raccoon Mountain before making their descent back into the valley. Along the trail, the Scouts didn’t just hike—they honed their skills. They practiced trail cooking, preparing both breakfast and lunch in the outdoors, demonstrating teamwork, preparedness, and self-reliance. This was more than just a hike—it was a true test of endurance, skill, and Scout spirit. We are proud of every Scout who took on the challenge and rose to meet it. Well done, Troop 94! Please join us in congratulating Owen on the successful completion of his Eagle Scout Service Project this past weekend at Carvers Creek State Park! Owen demonstrated outstanding leadership as he guided a team of Scouts along the Turkey Oak Loop Trail, where they built erosion control measures to help protect the trail. By improving drainage with carefully constructed features, the team worked to direct water off the trail and reduce long-term erosion—leaving the park better than they found it. In addition, Owen organized a book drive and collected over 150 books for the park’s lending library, helping create opportunities for visitors to learn and enjoy during their time outdoors. This project is a true example of service, leadership, and commitment to the community. Well done, Owen—we’re proud of you! #TroopNineFour #EagleScoutProject #ScoutingAmerica #ScoutsBSA
Troop 94 had an outstanding adventure this past weekend at Reed’s Gold Mine in Midland, NC, where our Scouts earned the Mining in Society Merit Badge! The day was packed with hands-on learning and exploration. Scouts toured the historic gold mine, explored the museum, and gained a deeper understanding of mining, minerals, and their impact on society. Of course, no trip to a gold mine would be complete without trying their luck—our Scouts even panned for gold! To top it all off, the troop finished the day with a 3-mile hike, enjoying the outdoors and putting their Scout spirit into action. It was a fantastic day of learning, teamwork, and adventure. We’re proud of our Scouts for their hard work and enthusiasm! #TroopNineFour #mining #ScoutsBSA #ScoutingAmerica
Troop 94 had an outstanding weekend at the Sandhills District Camporee! Our Scouts put their skills to the test across a full slate of patrol competitions - search and rescue challenges, fire building, emergency shelters, knots, rifle shooting, lashings, signaling, wilderness survival, and rescue scenarios. On top of that, they continued sharpening their cooking and camping skills, proving once again that preparation and teamwork make all the difference. Congratulations to the Buccaneers Patrol for taking 1st place in ground-to-air signaling! An impressive and well-earned victory that truly showcased their skill and teamwork. Our junior Scouts also stepped up, practicing flag folding and raising with precision and pride - well on their way to mastering the fundamentals of Scouting. Proud of every Scout who showed determination, growth, and Scout spirit all weekend long. Troop 94 continues to lead the way—prepared, capable, and always ready! #ScoutingAmerica #ScoutsBSA #camporee #troopninefour
