🌲🔥 Troop Campout at Camp Cherokee! 🔥🌲

This past weekend, Troop 94 Scouts had a fantastic time at Camp Cherokee! They completed Wilderness First Aid training, cooked tasty meals with Dutch ovens, foil packets, and campfires, and of course made s’mores and campfire pies using a sandwich press.

They also practiced wood chopping, played some fun board games, and wrapped up with a conservation service project to give back to camp.

A big bravo to the Scouts who took the plunge this weekend at the Council sponsored SCUBA event held at Gypsy Divers Aquatic Center in Raleigh! These young adventurers explored new depths—literally—while building skills, confidence, and memories that will last a lifetime.

Troop 94 continues to dive into exciting and challenging outdoor experiences that go beyond the ordinary. Whether it’s beneath the surface or high on a mountain trail, these Scouts are always up for the next big adventure!

🚂 Troop 94 Goes Full Steam Ahead at Rail Camp! 🚂 This past weekend, Troop 94 rolled into an unforgettable adventure at Rail Camp, hosted at the U.S. Transportation Museum in Spencer, NC! Our Scouts earned their Railroading Merit Badge, explored historic locomotives, and got hands-on experience with the world of trains. Beyond the tracks, they forged friendships with fellow Scouts from other troops and shared plenty of laughs during a lively campfire program filled with skits and Scout spirit. 🔥🎭 We’re proud of the Scouts for their hard work, enthusiasm, and camaraderie. Troop 94B at Smith Lake – A Day of Aquatics and Honor This past August, Troop 94B spent a full and fulfilling day at beautiful Smith Lake, taking advantage of all the water had to offer. Scouts swam, paddled canoes, explored on kayaks, and even mastered their balance on stand-up paddleboards — all under the watchful eye of our trained leaders and lifeguards. In true Scouting fashion, the day was not all fun and games. The Scouts also kept up with their cooking duties, preparing hearty meals that kept everyone fueled and cheerful. As the sun set over the water, we gathered together for something deeply meaningful: a flag retirement ceremony. With solemn respect and reverence, the troop retired over 50 worn and weathered American flags — ensuring each was honored in accordance with tradition and dignity. 🌲🔥 Troop 94B/G Weekend Adventure at Camp Tuscarora! 🔥🌲 This past weekend, Troop 94B/G had the honor of hosting an exciting event for Cub Scout Arrows of Light (AOL) at Camp Tuscarora! The AOLs jumped into the adventure by completing their First Aid and Knife Safety adventures, and also learned key outdoor skills like fire building and water purification. 💧 The fun didn’t stop there-Scouts took part in patrol cooking competitions, built skills and confidence, and wrapped up the weekend with an epic campfire program full of skits, songs, laughter, and of course...
